Job summary

Compass Group UK&I in Defence is recruiting a dedicated Facilities Assistant on a full-time basis, contracted to 39 hours per week. You will work with the facilities team to maintain high standards of facility management and support contractors while ensuring security and policy compliance.

The role requires a proactive communicator who can manage priorities, timekeeping, and reliability in a busy site environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar facilities role.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Responsible for exterior site cleanliness and general repair upkeep.
• Assist with contractor sign-in/out, and ensure compliance with site policies.
• Open and/or close the building as required.
