Job summary

Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Assistant Lead to support the Lead FMA in delivering maintenance across offices, sound stages, workshops and external areas.

You will help coordinate contractors, oversee daily workflows and develop a multi-skilled team to uphold safety, functionality and presentation. You will contribute to maintenance strategy, monitor performance and ensure safe practices across a fast-moving site.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Supervisory experience within construction, facilities, or equivalent.
• Multi-trade experience across maintenance disciplines.
• Strong understanding of COSHH and safety compliance.
• CSCS Card or equivalent site qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Assist in developing long-term maintenance strategy aligned with WBSL Facilities department objectives.
• Champion innovation and maintain awareness of evolving industry practices.
• Report progress and updates via all media outlets provided, including diagnosing and resolving issues promptly.
• Keep accurate records including sign-off sheets, compliance records, and work descriptions.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety legislation and policies, monitoring PPE use.
• Ensure the team is trained and maintains training records for equipment and processes.
• React to emergencies with a plan for permanent or temporary fixes and escalation where needed.
• Provide assistance and direction to contractors on site.
• Occasional out-of-hours contact for on-site queries or issues.
