Job summary

Barchester is seeking a Head of Maintenance to ensure a clean, well‑maintained environment across our care home. You will lead a small team, manage day‑to‑day maintenance tasks, and support the General Manager with budget planning.

You’ll liaise with contractors, handle repairs from taps to grounds, and apply a hands‑on approach to deliver safe, comfortable living for residents while enabling staff to perform at their best.

Qualifications

• At least one trade skill required.
• Hands-on experience with property maintenance and willingness to lead a team.
