Job summary

Barchester is seeking a Head of Maintenance for a care home to ensure a clean, well‑maintained environment for residents and staff. The role covers building and grounds tasks, with active leadership of a maintenance team.

You will liaise with contractors, participate in budget planning with the General Manager, and ensure all work respects residents’ needs. Driving, IT literacy, and GCSEs are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in property maintenance.
• Ability to undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks.
• Reliable and flexible with working hours.
