Job summary

SSE plc is seeking a Facilities, Fleet, Compliance & Logistics Manager to support operational delivery across the SSE network. You will ensure depots, fleet, and compliance are managed safely and efficiently, enabling our teams to perform at their best.

The role involves leading a small team, coordinating logistics, and driving continuous improvement. A valid driving licence and willingness to travel are required, with flexible options and a permanent full-time contract.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team to deliver outcomes for internal customers.
• Understanding of fleet, logistics, facilities management and compliance.
• Strong communication with a range of stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
• Ability to use data to analyse performance and identify improvements.
• IT proficiency including core Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regional depots and remote sites operate safely, securely and effectively.
• Lead and develop a team of Resource Controllers and stores personnel.
• Oversee fleet, compliance and training activities to provide excellent service.
• Deliver cost-effective, timely, fit-for-purpose logistics solutions.
• Drive team productivity by setting performance expectations and applying corrective actions.
• Support Performance & Improvement team to deliver a safe, reliable service.
