Job summary

ABM is seeking a site-based Facilities Supervisor to support the daily operation of the AmazonSTN6 site in Northampton. You will supervise engineers and specialists, coordinate service delivery, and liaise with the on-site RMETeam to ensure exceptional customer service and timely reporting.

The role requires strong organizational skills, experience with CAFM systems, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience essential in managing engineers and specialists.
• Experience with CAFM systems.
• Experience in assisting with compiling monthly reports.
• Experience with raising W/O’s and some budgetary control desirable.
• Experience with training and supervising engineers.
• Raising quotations and submitting to the customers.
• Good IT skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Excellent communications skills as this will be a client facing role.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace
• Excellent understanding of M&E Building Services
• Excellent skills required in keeping site log books fully up to date
• Dealing with a wide range of M&E emergencies

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support daily operations for a high-profile customer operating environment on a day-to-day basis.
• Liaise with on-site RM team to ensure service delivery to customer.
• Supervise engineers and specialists; coordinate site activities and reporting.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports; raise WOs and manage basic budgeting where applicable.
• Train and supervise engineering staff; ensure compliance with H&S policies.
• Maintain quotations and submit to customers in a timely manner.
• Utilise IT tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to track tasks and performance.
• Communicate clearly with client and internal teams to ensure satisfaction.
• Manage a range of M&E emergencies, maintaining calm and control.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date site logbooks across multiple sites.
