Job summary

Convene is seeking a Facilities Assistant to support the Client Support Team at London venues. The role focuses on providing a high standard of client care, maintaining a clean, comfortable environment, and supporting event setup.

Responsibilities include daily room preparation, maintaining cleanliness across all areas, health & safety compliance, and assisting with ad hoc tasks within the venue. Weekend availability is required as needed.

Qualifications

Ability to provide a high standard of client care in a hospitality venue.
Comfort with maintaining a clean and orderly environment for clients.
Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Set rooms each evening for the next day according to client requirements and standards.
Ensure unused meeting rooms are ready for client showrounds.
Maintain cleanliness of meeting rooms, staff offices and common areas.
Perform daily cleaning of washrooms and stock replenishment.
Carry out deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled by Facilities Supervisor.
Manage waste removal per Health & Safety rules and update stock sheets.
Log lost property found in meeting rooms and common areas.
