Job summary

Conway Hall in Holborn, London, is seeking a Venue and Events Assistant (part-time) to support the delivery of venue hire events. You will work with Duty Managers to ensure a smooth guest experience, handle front-of-house tasks, cafe and bar service, and coordinate suppliers.

• Excellent organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Duty Managers in the preparation and delivery of venue hire events.
• Set up and pack down furniture and equipment in the events spaces.
• Provide Front of House support including answering phones, door and deliveries.
• Welcome guests and delegates and attend to their wellbeing on site.
• Assist clients with reasonable requests during events.
• Operate the in-house cafe and bar during events, serve drinks, handle money, keep the cafe clean.
• Serve and/or sell retail products as required.
• Keep building and spaces neat and tidy, conduct toilet and bin checks, manage cleaning.
• Coordinate suppliers and caterers.
