Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Caretaker for CAFRE Greenmount, Antrim. The role involves setting up conference rooms, coordinating access for contractors, and supporting student services. A full driving license is required, and the role covers general portering, energy readings, and post movements.

The position operates Monday to Friday with 07:30–13:30 or 08:00–14:00 shifts; training, career progression, and a company pension are offered in a friendly, values-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Basic statutory training and the ability to understand safety instructions and communicate with customers on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities

• Caretaking/Conference: setting up rooms to customer needs and meeting customers out of hours.
• Accompanying energy deliveries and taking energy readings.
• Meeting contractors and coordinating access to rooms/areas as requested by reception or Facilities Manager.
• General portering: delivering items, moving furniture, and delivering post bags as directed.
• Carrying out Gate Lodge protocols; manning the Gate Lodge 08:00–16:00 and directing traffic.
• Support for the Student Services Manager and Residential Support Team; reporting health/safety issues and misbehaviour incidents.
• Audits of fixtures, fittings and furniture and reporting faults to Facilities Manager.
• Carrying out water flushing in buildings as directed.
