Job summary

Mount Charles Group is hiring a Catering Assistant at Moy Park, Craigavon. This part-time role offers 27.5 hours per week across Sunday to Thursday, 00:00–06:00, with opportunities to showcase guest service, food prep and stock control in a world leading facilities management environment.

You will join a team focused on delivering quality customer service, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting smooth kitchen operations in a busy site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, service and sales of food and beverages for the unit.
• Prepare the service counter.
• Provide the highest level of customer service.
• Ensure service is delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Carry out cleaning duties as instructed and keep areas tidy.
• Handle cash duties under supervision.
• Keep up to date with promotions and products.
• Follow health, safety and HACCP standards.

The Role:

• Assistin the preparation, service and sales of all food and beverages for the unit
• Preparation of service counter
• Provide the highest level of customer service in a consistent approach to anyone who uses the facility
• Work as part of the team to ensure service is delivered on time andato a consistently high standard
• Carry out all cleaning duties as per instruction from line manager or per unit cleaning rota
• Ensure kitchen and service areas are always clean and tidy
• Clear rooms of any trays, flasks.
• Be responsible forcash handling duties under your control
• Keep up to date with current promotions and new products
• Comply withall Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
• Comply withall HACCP regulations as necessary
• Follow procedures as directed on the correct handling and use of all cleaning materials.
• Complete any administration as requested which may include recording of food temperatures, updating cleaning schedules, cashing uptillsand recording daily sales figures on the system.
• Assistwith effective management of stock control

The Person:

• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing,speakingand listening skills toassistin understanding safety and work, instructions and communicating with customer on a day-today basis.
