Responsibilities

• Carry out regular checks of school buildings and grounds.
• Ensure classrooms and communal areas are safe and ready for use.
• Identify maintenance issues and report defects promptly.
• Complete minor repairs within your competence.
• Check doors, windows and fixtures for security.
• Monitor condition of furniture and fittings.
• Support basic grounds maintenance.
• Assist with deliveries and moving equipment.
• Prepare rooms for meetings and events.
• Support examination room setups and school activities.
• Open and close the site and manage keys securely.
• Follow alarm and security procedures and liaise with contractors.
