Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Facilities Assistant (Periodic) at the Bury site. The role supports cleaning across in-patient and community settings, including periodic tasks and heavy-duty cleaning, with a requirement to drive a Trust vehicle or have access to transport.

You will join the Facilities team within Capital Investment and Estates Services, contributing to high standards of cleanliness in line with NHS National Cleaning standards and infection control measures.

Qualifications

• NVQ 2 or equivalent experience.
• Full UK driving license.
• Experience of cleaning services, COSHH, Colour coding.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety Techniques.
• Formal cleaning qualification/training + Full UK driving license.
• Experience working to NHS National Cleaning standards, Colour coding, COSHH.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety.
• Good Communication & IT Skills, Punctual & Reliable.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out tasks in line with Trust policy, national cleaning standards and local instruction.
• Carpet cleaning, cleaning ceilings / walls, curtain changing.
• Roto washing/buffing floors; cleaning ventilation grills and radiators.
• Carry a mobile phone to respond to ad hoc requests, e.g. urgent delivery or incidents.
• Ensure infection control, COSHH and health & safety procedures are followed.
• Travel across the Trust footprint as required to support sites.
