Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a Facilities Assistant in Weymouth on a long-term, ongoing contract. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with a pay rate of £13.95 per hour as indicated in the job listing.

The successful candidate will join the facilities team, assisting with maintenance tasks across buildings and external areas, carrying out minor repairs, maintaining records, and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed. Prior facilities experience is advantageous.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance assistant who is reliable, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a busy environment. Supporting the facilities team.

Key Duties

• Assist with maintenance tasks across buildings, equipment and external car parks
• Carry out minor repairs and general upkeep
• Maintain accurate records and ensure items are handled with care.
• Follow health and safety procedures and site protocols.

Requirements

• Previous facilities experience advantageous
• Respond to and complete tasks raised through in-house computer system
• Computer literate with good IT skills.
