Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a Facilities Assistant in Weymouth on a long-term, ongoing contract. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with a pay rate of £13.95 per hour as indicated in the job listing.

The successful candidate will join the facilities team, assisting with maintenance tasks across buildings and external areas, carrying out minor repairs, maintaining records, and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed. Prior facilities experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or maintenance is beneficial.
• Respond to tasks via in-house computer system.
• Computer literate with good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance tasks across buildings and external areas.
• Carry out minor repairs and general upkeep.
• Maintain accurate records and handle items with care.
• Follow health and safety procedures and site protocols.
• Support room setups, furniture moves and general facility tasks.
