  • Experience working in a facilities team, office support or customer-focused role.
  • Knowledge of building safety and management.
  • Ability to carry out health, safety and fire compliance tasks.

  • Ability to handle maintenance and service requests and administrative tasks.
  • Ability to provide a customer-focused approach.
  • Good IT skills across MS Office and familiarity with a helpdesk system.
  • Good health and safety knowledge and willingness to undertake health and safety or facilities management training.

Facilities Assistant

Based in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire

Permanent, full-time, 37 hours per week

Salary: £26,500 - £29,500

We have an exciting opportunity for a facilities, office support or customer service professional with good health and safety knowledge and strong organisational skills to join our dedicated team.

In this role, you’ll support the smooth day-to-day running of our main office and other corporate facilities, helping to maintain safe, welcoming and well-managed working environments. Working closely with the Senior Facilities Co-ordinator, you’ll balance planned maintenance and compliance activities with facilities requests, co-ordinating contractors and responding to the changing needs of colleagues across the business. You’ll also support building security, health and safety, meeting and workplace services, ensuring facilities issues are resolved efficiently and consistently to a high standard.

We’re looking for someone with…
  • Experience of working in a facilities team, office support or customer-focused role
  • Knowledge of building safety and management
  • The ability to carry out health, safety and fire compliance tasks
  • The ability to co-ordinate contractors
  • The ability to handle maintenance and service requests and administrative tasks.

  • A full, valid driving licence and use of a vehicle
