Hertfordshire County Council in Stevenage is seeking a Facilities Assistant to support campus and site operations. The role covers basic maintenance, compliance testing, event setup, furniture handling, cleaning, grounds work, and general porterage, with regular travel to other Hertfordshire sites.
You'll be a reliable, customer‑focused team member with a clean driving licence and good IT skills (Word/Excel), able to manage a varied workload and assist with emergency procedures.
Starting Salary: £26,016 opportunity to progress to £26,427 per annum
