Job Description

Our client, a long-established and highly respected engineering workshop, is seeking a skilled Fabricator Welder to join their team. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to work on high-quality stainless steel and mild steel components within a busy and well-equipped workshop environment. The ideal candidate will have strong MIG welding experience, good fabrication skills, and the ability to work from engineering drawings to produce accurate finished components.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG/ TIG welding on stainless and mild steel
• General fabrication including cutting, drilling, grinding, and prepping
• Assembly of fabricated units and components
• Working from engineering drawings to complete work accurately
• Operating workshop machinery such as grinders, drills, saws, and plasma cutters
• Completing fabrication jobs from start to finish

Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements

• Proven MIG/TIG welding experience
• Background in fabrication or workshop environments

• Ability to commute reliably to Marden (car preferred due to rural location)
