Job summary

JRS Associates LTD, in partnership with a well-established engineering and manufacturing business in the Ripley area, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in fabrication and welding.

You will take technical ownership of designated manufacturing projects, ensuring products are manufactured to specification, delivered on time and within agreed cost targets, with responsibilities spanning reading complex drawings, defining methods, and producing technical

Qualifications

• Experience as Project Engineer in fabrication or welding manufacturing.
• Knowledge of fabrication and welding processes.
• Experience in regulated engineering industries (defence/nuclear/aerospace).
• Ability to define manufacturing methods for complex parts and assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Experience producing manufacturing routings and technical documentation.
• HNC or higher in relevant engineering; equivalent.
• CAD experience is advantageous.
• Strong customer communication and project coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and own projects.
• BPSS clearance eligibility required.
