Alpine Formula One Team is offering a 1-year Validation Design & Test Student Placement in Enstone starting July 2027. You will support the design and development of mechanical components, collaborating with senior engineers on CAD modelling, design validation, and documentation to ensure performance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering and seeking an industry placement in your penultimate year of university.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with CAD software.
• Familiarity with design for manufacture and mechanical systems.
• Passion for motorsport and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of mechanical components using CAD software
• Support the preparation of technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing and assembly
• Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with analysis, manufacturing, and vehicle integration teams to ensure design feasibility and performance
• Help ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and regulatory requirements
