Job summary

Alpine Formula One Team in Enstone invites a Stress Student Placement to support structural analysis and validation of race-critical components. You will work with Mechanical, Composites, Aerodynamics and Vehicle Performance teams to optimise strength, stiffness and weight.

The role is based on-site in Enstone for a 1-year placement starting July 2027, during your penultimate year. The package includes a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits such as private medical care and access to

Qualifications

Currently studying a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering in penultimate year.
Strong understanding of structural mechanics and materials.
Experience with FEA software.
Familiarity with CAD tools and engineering documentation.
Passion for motorsport and proactive, analytical mindset.
Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
Available to attend onsite assessment centre in September.

Responsibilities

Assist in performing structural analysis using FEA tools
Support the validation of components through simulation and physical testing
Help prepare technical reports and documentation for design reviews
Contribute to optimisation studies for weight and performance
Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure robust and efficient component delivery
