GM Performance Power Units in Berkshire, UK, seeks a Sensor Actuator Assurance Engineer to develop and maintain methods validating sensors and actuators for PU control systems across lab and track operations.

You will design test methods, manage documentation, collaborate with Data Analysis and PLM teams, and support selection of devices for high-performance applications, ensuring reliability and safety throughout the lifecycle.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field; equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with electronics in motorsport/high-performance environment.
• Proven experience managing and maintaining mission-critical devices.
• Strong understanding of sensors and actuators physics and operating principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with MATLAB and statistical analysis tools.

Mansioni

• Develop test methods and procedures aligned with standards to assess sensor/actuator reliability and accuracy.
• Design and implement protective storage and handling procedures.
• Create and execute non-destructive evaluation methods with complete records.
• Collaborate with Data Analysis and PLM teams to correlate device usage with reliability outcomes.
• Assist in selecting sensors/actuators for PU applications with Electronics Systems Engineering.
• Execute assurance testing; document results and produce statistical fleet reports.
• Engage suppliers on performance issues and supply chain concerns.
