GM Performance Power Units is seeking a Sensor Actuator Assurance Engineer to develop and maintain verification methods for sensors and actuators used in PU control systems. The role supports lab and track operations to ensure devices meet performance and safety requirements throughout their lifecycle.

The position involves designing test methods, collaborating with engineering teams, and delivering reliable data to drive continued performance on-track and in development programs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of electronics experience in motorsport/high-performance environments.
• Proven track record managing mission-critical devices.
• Strong understanding of sensor/actuator physics and operation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with MATLAB and statistical tools.

Responsabilidades

• Develop test methods and procedures aligned with manufacturer recommendations and PU use cases.
• Design protective storage and handling procedures to preserve device integrity.
• Create non-destructive evaluation methods and maintain complete records.
• Correlate device usage with reliability outcomes with Data Analysis and PLM teams.
• Support sensor/actuator selection for PU applications with Electronics Systems Engineering.
• Execute assurance testing and produce statistical fleet reports.
• Engage suppliers on performance, faults, and supply chain concerns.
