Job summary

Alpine Racing Limited in Enstone offers a 1-year, full-time student placement in Composites Design starting July 2027. You will contribute to CAD modelling, laminate definitions, and manufacturing documentation, while collaborating with engineers to ensure performance and manufacturability under F1 rules.

Applicants should be pursuing Mechanical/Automotive/Aerospace/Motorsport Engineering and have CAD experience, plus a right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering.
• Strong understanding of composite materials and mechanical design principles.
• Experience with CAD software.
• Familiarity with composite manufacturing processes and design for manufacture.
• Must have the right to work in the UK as we cannot provide sponsorship for this role.
• Be available to attend onsite for an assessment centre in September.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of composite components using CAD software.
• Support the creation of laminate schedules and ply definitions.
• Help prepare technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing and tooling.
• Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, structural analysis, and vehicle integration teams to ensure design feasibility and performance.
