Job summary

Red Bull Technology is offering an undergraduate industrial placement in the Composite Design Department at our Milton Keynes campus. The role runs for one year starting Summer 2027, designed for students returning to higher education after the placement year.

You will work across composite design areas, including scheme generation, tooling, assemblies and documentation, with emphasis on material choices, laminate design and sign-off, and presenting ideas to the team.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in mechanical or aeronautical engineering degree.
• Returning to education for at least one year after placement.
• Proficient computer literacy with good math/physics understanding.

Responsibilities

• Organised, methodical approach to tasks.
• Cover all aspects of Composite Design from concept to tooling and documentation.
• Involve in material selection, laminate design and structural sign-off.
• Present design concepts clearly and adapt to changing priorities.
