Job summary

Red Bull Technology invites applications for an undergraduate Industrial Placement in the Composite Design Department. The role runs for 1 year from summer 2027, based at Milton Keynes, with exposure to chassis, wing and bodywork design, and hands-on tasks within a high-performance F1 environment.

Candidates should be pursuing a mechanical or aeronautical engineering degree, be computer literate, and returning to higher education for at least 1 year after the placement.

Qualifications

• Must be actively studying toward a mechanical/aeronautical engineering degree
• Be returning to higher education to study for at least 1 year after the placement
• Hands-on tasks and strong practical mindset are essential

Responsibilities

• Organised and methodical approach to work
• Cover all aspects of Composite Design from concept to detailed design and documentation
• Involvement in material selection, laminate design, and structural sign-off
• Contribute to R&D activity and propose new ideas for composites
• Present ideas and design work clearly
• Be flexible to changing priorities and go the extra mile when required
