Job summary

RBH Hospitality invites applications for a Food & Beverage Team Member at our hotel in Glasgow. You will welcome guests with a warm smile, take orders, and deliver meals and drinks while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.

You will work closely with kitchen and bar teams in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth service throughout shifts. Previous F&B experience is a plus, but a positive, learnable attitude is valued equally.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service from start to finish.
• Take and process food and drink orders accurately, noting special requests.
• Serve food and beverages, maintaining high presentation standards.
• Set up, clean, and reset tables and service areas for an inviting space.
• Prepare and serve beverages, including breakfast items and basic barista duties.
• Assist with inventory and restocking to keep dining areas stocked.
• Uphold hygiene and safety standards in a compliant workspace.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD & BEVERAGE TEAM MEMBER AT OUR HOTEL

What you'll be doing...

• Welcome guests with a warm smile and attentive service, making their experience enjoyable from start to finish.
• Take and process food and drink orders accurately, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled.
• Serve food and drinks with care, keeping presentation standards high and timing smooth.
• Set up, clean, and reset tables and service areas, maintaining an inviting and well-organised dining space.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including basic barista duties and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks. Will be cooking breakfast items, and setting up/clearing down the breakfast buffet.
• Keep the dining area stocked by assisting with inventory and restocking supplies.
• Uphold hygiene and health and safety standards, ensuring a spotless and compliant workspace.
• Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver a seamless service, supporting each other for a smooth operation.

What We Need From You

• A friendly, professional approach with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
• Prior food and beverage service experience is a plus, but we welcome a willingness to learn.
• Clear communication skills to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
