Job summary

RBH is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Team Member to join our hotel dining team in Barrow-in-Furness. You will greet guests, take orders, serve dishes and drinks, and support daily dining room operations to ensure a smooth and welcoming guest experience.

Experience in hospitality is a plus. Responsibilities include maintaining hygiene standards, teamwork with kitchen and bar colleagues, and adapting to busy service periods with energy and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• A friendly, professional approach with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
• Prior food and beverage service experience is a plus, but we welcome a willingness to learn.
• Clear communication skills to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
• A keen eye for detail, especially in order accuracy and food presentation.
• Team-focused, ready to jump in and support others to keep service flowing.
• Flexibility and energy to thrive in a fast-paced setting, handling peak times with ease.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm smile and attentive service, making their experience enjoyable from start to finish.
• Take and process food and drink orders accurately, noting and fulfilling special requests.
• Serve food and drinks with care, maintaining presentation standards and timing.
• Set up, clean, and reset tables and service areas, keeping a tidy dining space.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including basic barista duties and mocktails.
• Keep the dining area stocked by assisting with inventory and restocking supplies.
• Uphold hygiene and health and safety standards in a clean workspace.
• Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver a seamless service.
