Job summary

RBH Hospitality Management Ltd is seeking a proactive Food & Beverage Supervisor for Old Town Chambers, Edinburgh. You will lead the F&B team during service, ensuring warm, attentive and professional guest experiences across busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous food and beverage experience, ideally in a supervisory or senior role.
• Warm, professional and approachable personality with a passion for guest experience.
• Strong communication skills to lead and support during busy service periods.
• Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks and keep service running smoothly.
• Hands-on approach and ability to lead by example when needed.
• Keen eye for detail and commitment to high standards of service and safety.
• Positive, team-focused attitude with energy for fast-paced hospitality

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR AT OLD TOWN CHAMBERS

What you'll be doing...

• Lead and support the F&B team during service, ensuring guests receive warm, attentive and professional service throughout their stay.
• Supervise day-to-day F&B operations, ensuring service runs smoothly and standards are consistently maintained.
• Lead by example during busy periods, remaining hands-on and stepping in wherever needed to support the team.
• Welcome guests, respond to requests and feedback, and resolve any service issues professionally and confidently.
• Brief and guide team members during shifts, allocating tasks and supporting colleagues to deliver an efficient service.
• Monitor food and beverage presentation, stock levels, cleanliness and health & safety standards across the operation.
• Support the training and development of team members, working closely with the wider team to create a seamless guest experience.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Previous food and beverage experience, ideally within a supervisory or senior team member role.

• Strong communication skills and the confidence to lead and support a team during busy service periods.
