Job summary

The Bull Hotel in Gerrards Cross is seeking a Food and Beverage Shift Leader to oversee the Lounge Bar, Restaurant, and events space. You will lead a friendly team, ensure service standards, and coordinate with the kitchen while handling guest requests and allergies.

This role requires a confident, well-presented individual with a customer-focused approach. Join a busy hospitality team and contribute to a welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an F&B Assistant in a quality hotel or restaurant.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Willing to work full time on a 5 day out of 7 rota, including weekends.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve customer issues effectively.
• Enthusiasm, professional manner and willingness to take on extra responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for guests.
• Supervise and motivate the service team to maintain standards.
• Liaise with kitchen to ensure timely food service and accommodate special requests.
• Ensure guest service is professional and timely; handle feedback.
• Maintain H&S and hygiene standards across the department.
• Assist with on-job training and coaching of staff.
