Job summary

Warner Hotels in Harrogate is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead service shifts, coach teams, and deliver memorable guest experiences across our restaurants and bars.

You will ensure H&S compliance, drive upselling, manage cash handling, and report on shift performance while fostering a positive, collaborative culture. Experience in hospitality operations and Level 3 food safety is desirable; onsite benefits support career development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food and beverage or hospitality operations.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards; Level 3 certificate desirable.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-shift leader across the department and monitor standards.
• Serve as main guest contact, handle queries and VIP requests.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor cash handling, sales opportunities, and cost control.
• Conduct shift handovers and prepare concise reports.
