Job summary

Diversey, part of Solenis, is seeking an experienced F&B Sector Specialist to join the KBS North team. This field-based role focuses on delivering the full Food & Beverage value proposition across the UK and beyond, combining technical expertise with commercial impact.

You will lead projects, train teams, and support sales with deep application knowledge while travelling extensively across the region. A chemistry-related degree and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in chemistry, chemical processing, food processing, microbiology or similar field.
• Strong technical credibility in Food & Beverage.
• Proven project management experience in multi-stakeholder environments.
• Analytical thinking with ability to optimise customer processes.
• Excellent communication across operators to site management and procurement.
• High resilience, flexibility for demanding production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute technical projects at GSA, regional and local customers including audits and migrations.
• Support regional strategy by aligning with local sales management and driving commercial outcomes.
• Introduce innovations, product swaps and new technologies to grow NTW and NPI sales.
• Deliver technical training to customers, TAMs and sales teams.
• Act as technical authority for Sales, Engineering and Laboratory teams.
• Solve high-pressure production issues with deep F&B process knowledge.
• Conduct market analysis, customer segmentation and white-spot identification.
• Build relationships with authorities and industry bodies to support regulatory alignment.
• Execute the KBS catalogue to deliver consistent Knowledge-Based Solutions.
