Job summary

Diversey – A Solenis Company is seeking an Application Expert to join our national team in the United Kingdom, delivering technical hygiene, cleaning and chemical solutions to customers and sales teams. You will translate chemistry knowledge into practical guidance that enhances performance and value.

You will work with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and R&D to identify customer needs, run field trials, provide training, and support product launches, while building lasting relationships

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Customer-focused approach with practical solutions.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical application expertise to support customer acquisition and retention.
• Partner with Sales and Business Development to identify customer needs and recommend chemical and hygiene solutions.
• Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.
• Support customers in resolving cleaning, hygiene, and process challenges.
• Advise on product selection, platforms, equipment, and dosing systems.
• Deliver technical support and guidance to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with launching new products and solutions, including customer and sales training.
• Conduct field trials and evaluations, providing feedback for product and system innovation.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Technical Support, and R&D to drive improvement and innovation.
• Support development of responsible and sustainable cleaning solutions across the industry.
