Job summary

Primaire Consulting Ltd is seeking a Field Service Specialist to join a global food safety and hygiene leader. You’ll serve as the face of the business across a portfolio of customers, blending sales development with technical credibility to improve product quality and compliance.

Based in London/Cambridge/Reading triangle, the role involves shaping sales plans, nurturing relationships, running surveys and trials, and delivering practical hygiene training while championing health and safety

Qualifications

• Experience managing calendar, workload and territory.
• Confident with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Full, valid driving licence with an acceptable record.
• Self-driven, self-motivated and comfortable in a sales or business development environment.
• Some exposure to sustainability-focused projects.
• Genuinely motivated to work within food & beverage.
• Knowledge of CIP applications, food safety compliance, dairy manufacturing, food & protein processes, or brewery/beverage applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring the market, customers and competitors to shape sales planning.
• Building long-term relationships with key customer contacts, introducing new programmes and innovation.
• Running surveys, preparing offers and presenting concepts to win business against annual targets.
• Managing field trials and advising on hygiene chemical selection and application.
• Supporting customers on routine and specialist hygiene issues.
• Delivering classroom and practical training to build customer understanding.
• Championing a strong health & safety culture.

We're recruiting for a Field Service Specialist to join an award-winning, global business in the food safety and hygiene space. Their team works with food, beverage and dairy manufacturers to boost product quality, sustainability and operational efficiency, so this is a role that genuinely moves the needle on clean water, safe food and healthy environments.
