Job summary

Diversey is seeking an Application Expert to join our national team in the United Kingdom. You will provide technical application expertise to help customers select chemical products, equipment, dosing systems, and methods for improved performance and value.

You will work with Sales, Marketing, Product Management and R&D to translate science into practical solutions, support customer success and drive business growth across industries.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
• Customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering practical solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical application expertise to support customer acquisition and retention.
• Partner with Sales and Business Development teams to identify customer needs and recommend effective chemical and hygiene solutions.
• Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.
• Support customers in resolving cleaning, hygiene, and process-related challenges.
• Advise on the selection and implementation of products, platforms, equipment, and dosing systems.
• Deliver technical support and guidance to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with the launch of new products and solutions, including customer and sales training.
• Conduct field trials and evaluations, providing technical feedback to support product and system innovation.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Technical Support, and R&D teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Support the development of responsible and sustainable cleaning solutions across the industry.
