Job summary

Motel One Group is seeking friendly hotel professionals to join our breakfast and lounge teams. You will help set up the breakfast buffet, deliver fast, cheerful service and contribute to the One Smile service concept.

In addition, you will tend the bar and One Lounge, support bar operations, advise guests, and help manage stock and schedules across departments. We value hosting skills, openness, and teamwork in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

Your will also be responsible for:

• Preparation & set-up of the breakfast buffet
• Providing a seamless, rapid service and implementing the Motel One breakfast concept “One Smile”
• Cross-departmental insights into new areas of activity through Gaining interdepartmental insights into new areas of activity by working in our multicultural teams

As well as tending the bar and One Lounge, your duties will also include the following:

• Providing a seamless, rapid service
• Helping to organise the bar service and determine all the necessary standards and schedules in cooperation with the department manager
• Providing advice to customers and actively selling Motel One Lounge products in order to achieve the One Lounge sales budget
• Helping to order food, beverages and spirits for the bar areas and take inventory at the end of the month
• Gaining interdepartmental insights into new areas of activity by working in our multicultural teams

You will also:

• Have completed an apprenticeship in the hotel trade and/or have professional experience in the hotel / catering industry or be looking for a change of career
• Be open and communicative and have hosting skills, as well as a passion for the hotel industry
• Be flexible and creative and have an excellent sense of quality, even in stressful situations
• Be a team player and willing to provide assistance across departments – we achieve our results together
