Job summary

Motel One is seeking a friendly breakfast host to greet guests and provide excellent service across breakfast and lounge areas. You will help set up the buffet, maintain standards, and participate in the One Smile guest experience.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship in the hotel trade or proven experience in hotel/catering.

Job Description

You provide our guests with a wonderful start to their day with your smile and service during breakfast. Your will also be responsible for:

• Preparation & set-up of the breakfast buffet
• Providing a seamless, rapid service and implementing the Motel One breakfast concept “One Smile”
• Cross-departmental insights into new areas of activity through
• Gaining interdepartmental insights into new areas of activity by working in our multicultural teams

Thanks to your hosting skills, our guests will enjoy a wonderful stay. As well as tending the bar and One Lounge, your duties will also include the following:

• Providing a seamless, rapid service
• Helping to organise the bar service and determine all the necessary standards and schedules in cooperation with the department manager
• Providing advice to customers and actively selling Motel One Lounge products in order to achieve the One Lounge sales budget
• Helping to order food, beverages and spirits for the bar areas and take inventory at the end of the month
• Gaining interdepartmental insights into new areas of activity by working in our multicultural teams
