Job summary

Prospero Teaching is looking for passionate, proactive EYFS Teaching Assistants (minimum level 3 qualified) to support learning in a Newcastle primary school on a full-time basis. Qualifications

• EYFS Level 3 qualification or higher required.
• Experience of working with children in UK schools preferred.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Resilient, proactive and positive nature.
• Right to work in the UK required.
• Enhanced DBS with online update service or willingness to apply.
• Provide two professional references covering the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, including those with varied SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD).
• Deliver intervention sessions to boost understanding and progress.
• Support across the school during break and lunchtime as needed.
