Job summary

The Crossways Schools are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our EYFS team, supporting both classes and individual pupils. The role is part time (12.5 hours/week) during term time, including INSET days, with a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027.

Applicants should have a recognised TA qualification (NVQ level 2 or equivalent) and experience in a school setting, including SEND. You will work collaboratively with staff to raise attainment and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (NVQ Level 2).
• Experience of working as a TA in a school.
• Ability to support individuals and groups, including pupils with SEND.
• Sound literacy and numeracy skills; ability to give feedback to teachers.

Responsibilities

• Support both whole classes and individual pupils in the EYFS.
• Work with the EYFS team to promote pupil attainment, progress and wellbeing.
• Provide accurate feedback to teachers on progress and needs.
• Communicate effectively with pupils, parents and staff.
