Job summary

The Crossways Schools in Thornbury are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the EYFS team, supporting both whole classes and individual pupils. The successful candidate will have teamwork, effective communication, and a track record of positively affecting pupil attainment and wellbeing.

Role is 12 hours 30 minutes per week, term time only, with a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027. Salary actual: £8,051.84 – £8,447.62 per annum, pro-rata for term-time work.

Qualifications

• Recognised Teaching Assistant qualification or NVQ Level 2 equivalent.
• Experience as TA in a school.
• Ability to support pupils individually and in groups.

Responsibilities

• Support whole classes and individual children within EYFS.
• Contribute to positive pupil attainment, progress and well-being.
• Provide feedback to teachers on progress and needs.
