Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant for a part-time role in the TS12 area, starting November 2026. You will work under the guidance of the class teacher to support young children’s learning, wellbeing, and development in a nurturing early years environment.

The role requires a Level 3 EYFS qualification and prior EYFS or primary experience, with a focus on play-based learning, inclusion, and positive behaviour support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an EYFS Teaching Assistant is essential.
• A Level 3 EYFS qualification is essential (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma or NCFE CACHE Level 3).
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Experience in early years or primary settings.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with age-appropriate EYFS activities.
• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups.
• Support children's communication, literacy, numeracy, physical and personal development.
• Assist with play-based learning and continuous provision.
