Job summary

Ecton Village Primary Academy is seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join the EYFS team. The role is part-time (up to 16 hours) during term time, with flexible patterns of five afternoons or two full days per week. You will support learning and development under EYFS guidelines and work closely with families to nurture children's growth.

Please hold a DfE-recognised EYFS qualification and Level 2 English/Maths; First Aid is desirable. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Qualification recognised by DfE for EYFS staff ratios.
• Level 2 or above in English and Mathematics.
• Experience of working with young children.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Paediatric first aid training or willing to complete.
• Read Write Inc, Kinetic Letters and White Rose Maths knowledge desirable.
• Completion of DfE Teacher Assistant Induction Programme desirable.
