Job summary

About Early Years Ltd. in Amersham, Buckinghamshire is looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to support Nursery and Reception pupils after October half term. This is a full-time, term-time role, 8:30am–3:45pm, Monday to Friday, lasting until at least July 2027.

You will carry out phonics, reading and writing activities, assist with general classroom duties and support mild SEN, with strong opportunities for teacher training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 2 or 3 CACHE Qualification in Childcare / Supporting Teaching & Learning.
• Or hold a Level 6 or degree within childcare or education.
• Have an understanding of the EYFS curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Phonics, Spelling, Reading & Writing activities.
• Creating a fun, engaging and safe learning environment.
• Assisting with general classroom duties.
• Supporting mild SEN when needed.
• Providing 1:1 and group booster sessions.
• Great education and training opportunities.
