Job summary

Ethos Education is seeking a full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Ealing, starting in November after the October half-term.

You will assist with phonics, early literacy and numeracy, work with children individually and in small groups, and collaborate with the class teacher to tailor activities for diverse learners. EYFS knowledge and a DBS check are preferred.

Qualifications

Early Years Teaching Assistant – Ealing | November Start

A welcoming primary school in Ealing is looking for a full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team after the October half term.

This is a long-term role starting in November and continuing until July 2027, offering the opportunity to become a consistent part of the Early Years team and support children's development throughout the academic year.

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you'll help create an engaging and nurturing learning environment where children can explore, play and develop essential early skills. Your day will involve supporting phonics, early literacy and numeracy, encouraging communication and social development, and helping children build confidence and independence.

You'll work closely with the class teacher, supporting children individually and in small groups and adapting activities to meet different learning needs.

The school is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and proactive Teaching Assistant with a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Previous experience working in a nursery, Reception class or primary school Early Years setting would be highly beneficial.
