Job summary

eTeach UK Limited is seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant to support children aged 3–5 across the EYFS, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00–15:30, term-time only (38 weeks).

You will work with individuals or small groups, assist with care and learning, and help create a safe, nurturing environment while collaborating with teachers and parents to support children’s development.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD).
• Strong communication with children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 3–5 in all areas of the Early Years curriculum.
• Work with individual pupils or small groups, including those with SEN.
• Assist with physical, emotional and social care of pupils.
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment.
• Support behaviour management and encourage positive social interactions.
• Contribute to preparation of resources and classroom organisation.
• Work with teachers and parents to support children's development.
