Job summary

GSL Education is seeking an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to support primary pupils with additional needs across Tameside and Manchester. An immediate start is available, working under the class teacher and EYFS Lead to support Reception learners.

Requirements include EYFS experience, NVQ2/3 (or equivalent), a calm, patient approach, and a willingness to undertake SEND training. DBS and two references required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with EYFS/Reception-aged children with additional needs.
• Calm, patient and adaptable approach.
• Willingness to undertake SEND training where required.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals and small groups within provision, indoors and outdoors.
• Aid communication, language, PSED development and phonics delivery as directed.
• Help pupils toward EHCP/SEND targets and report progress to SENCO.
