Engage Education is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a Good with Outstanding potential primary school in Oldham for an immediate start. You will support Nursery or Reception, help lead phonics and numeracy groups, and track early milestones with classroom teachers.

The role offers full-time term-time hours, paid weekly via PAYE, and a collaborative SLT committed to staff wellbeing and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Early Years setting (Nursery or Reception).
• Knowledge of EYFS framework and early literacy/phonics schemes.
• Energetic, warm, patient, and creative approach to child development.

Responsibilities

• Support continuous provision and play-based learning in EYFS.
• Lead small groups for Read Write Inc./phonics and basic numeracy.
• Assist with observation, assessment, and recording pupil progress.
