Job summary

Reed in the United Kingdom is seeking an enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join our early years team in Lowestoft. This five-day-per-week role starts after the Easter Half Term and runs through the Summer Term, delivering high-quality EYFS teaching in a warm, inclusive setting.

We welcome QTS or ECT applicants with a strong EYFS understanding, excellent communication, and a commitment to wellbeing and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or is an ECT with EYFS focus.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality teaching and learning in line with EYFS.
• Create a safe, engaging learning environment supporting curiosity and development.
• Develop positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Use observations to track progress and inform next steps.
• Foster social, emotional, and communication skills for school readiness.
• Work with the EYFS team to deliver cohesive early years provision.
• Uphold safeguarding, behaviour expectations, and school policies.
