Job summary

Aspire People is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join a Primary school's Nursery in Wednesbury. You will support nursery-age children, working closely with the teacher to plan engaging activities and monitor progress.

The role demands empathy, patience, and excellent communication with staff, parents and pupils. The ideal candidate will have Level 2/3 Support Teaching or equivalent, nursery experience, and flexibility to adapt teaching methods.

Are you passionate about supporting individual student's learning journeys? Do you have experience working with children at nursery ages? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Nursery Practitioners / Teaching Assistants to join Aspire People to work in a Primary school, working in their Nursery.

• Provide individualized support and assistance to all children.
• Collaborate with the classroom teacher to plan and deliver tailored lessons and activities to meet the student's unique needs.

Requirements:

• Level 2/3 Support Teaching or Learning (or ratio equivalent.)
• Previous experience working with children in a nursery environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with the student, staff, and parents.
• Patience, resilience, and the ability to provide emotional support when needed.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the student and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Knowledge of relevant teaching methodologies and resources for supporting individual students.
• Relevant qualifications in education or teaching assistant role are desirable but not essential.
