Job summary

Aspire People places an EYFS Teacher in Rugby to lead a play-led, child-centred curriculum aligned with the EYFS framework and Birth to 5 Matters. You will design engaging experiences, assess progress and celebrate achievements in a supportive school community.

You will build strong relationships with families, share learning updates, and ensure safeguarding compliance and DBS checks are up to date. This role requires passion for early years and inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Extensive experience of the EYFS curriculum.
• References covering your last 2 years of employment.
• Minimum of 2 years UK teaching experience.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service.
• In date safeguarding and allergy training.

Responsibilities

• Design, lead and continuously evolve a rich, play-led curriculum fully aligned with the Statutory EYFS Framework, Birth to 5 Matters guidance and Early Learning Goals.
• Plan differentiated, inspiring experiences responding to children's interests and needs; adapt resources so every child is challenged and supported.
• Build warm partnerships with parents and carers, communicating regularly and inclusively.
• Share progress and explain how families can support learning at home.

EYFS TEACHER - RUGBY

WHAT WOULD THIS ROLE INVOLVE

• Design, lead and continuously evolve a rich, play-led curriculum fully aligned with the Statutory EYFS Framework, Birth to 5 Matters guidance and the Early Learning Goals, covering all seven areas of learning
• Plan differentiated, inspiring experiences that respond to children's interests, strengths and next steps; adapt resources and approaches so every child - including SEND, EAL and higher-attaining learners - is appropriately challenged and supported
• Build warm, trusting partnerships with parents and carers from Coventry's diverse communities - communicating regularly, sensitively and inclusively through meetings, updates, learning journals and informal chats
• Share progress, celebrate achievements and explain how families can support learning at home; actively seek and value parents' knowledge about their child's culture, language and background
