Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting qualified EYFS Teaching Assistants to support children across nurseries, pre-schools and primary schools in Coventry and Warwickshire.

You should hold an EYFS qualification, have an enhanced DBS on update service, in-date safeguarding and allergy training, and at least two years of UK education experience.

A dedicated consultant will support you, with a £100 joining bonus and a recommend-a-friend scheme, plus outstanding career advice.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and development in communication, language, literacy, numeracy and physical skills.

• Support individual children needing extra help with learning or development.
• Observe and record children's progress, interests and development to support assessment.
• Promote communication by encouraging children to talk, listen, and develop vocabulary.

We are currently recruiting dedicated and caring Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming nurseries, pre-schools and primary schools throughout Coventry and Warwickshire.

You'll have the chance to work alongside experienced teachers and Early Years professionals, supporting children during those important first years of their education.

WHAT WOULD THE ROLE INVOLVE

• Supporting learning and development - helping children develop their communication, language, literacy, numeracy and physical skills.
• Assisting with activities - supporting teachers with fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities based on the EYFS framework.
• Supporting individual children - providing additional help to children who may need extra support with their learning or development.
• Observing children - observing and recording children's progress, interests and development to support assessment.
• Promoting communication - encouraging children to talk, listen, express themselves and develop their vocabulary.
